Friends of Loch on Dochais to host All Ireland Trout Angling Match

TrophyThe annual All Ireland Trout Angling Match for anglers with special needs run by the friends of Loch An Dochais takes place at Loch An Dochais, on Sunday 30th May 2010.

This is the 14th year of this competition and the lake now has the capacity of 43 angling spaces with ample car parking available.  Great credit is due to all involved who have brought the lake to the state it is today and running this competition.

Anglers will be competing for the Mary Robinson Perpetual Trophy and other prizes.  Fishing from 11 am to 2.45 pm. Followed by presentation of prizes in St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Kilcormac at 3.30 pm. 

A youth trout angling competition follows the All Ireland match which will be run in conjunction with the Shannon Regional Fisheries Board.  Fishing from 3 to 5pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
